What is Industrial Designs?
“Industrial Design” is the form or shape of the product to be created, which includes shapes, patterns, lines, colors, etc.
The conditions to obtain an industrial certificate
To obtain an industrial certificate, the following conditions must be met:
- must be a new model that has never been disclosed to the public before through magazines or through actual use or through exhibitions or through other forms in the Lao PDR or anywhere in the world, before the date of filing the application for registration;
- It must be an ornament that makes the object that is used or attached to the object itself to have a special external appearance.
A model that cannot be registered as an industrial model
A model that cannot be registered as an enterprise
- A model with an external appearance arises from a specific technical shape of the object in which the model is used or created to form;
- A way that goes against the order of society and the good and beautiful customs of the nation.
The industrial model has a protection period of fifteen years
