What is an integrated circuit diagram?
Layout-Designs of Integrated Circuits is a plan or drawing that is made in any form or any way to show the arrangement of electrical parts or electrical paths to be used to produce an integrated circuit in any form, such as a layout design which is a drawing of the layout of an electrical circuit and a mask that is used to produce an integrated circuit.
Conditions to obtain the integrated circuit diagram
What can be obtained as a circuit diagram must meet the following conditions:
- An original design that is not like anyone else’s;
- It is a structure that contains the coordination between components and parts;
- The application for registration must be filed before the date of bringing the integrated circuit design to commercial use worldwide by the owner or within two years from that date.
What cannot be registered in the integrated circuit diagram
Things that cannot beregistered as a combined circuit diagram are as follows:
- Principles, methods, systems or methods of operation of integrated circuits;
- Information or software contained in the integrated circuit.
